Edwin E. Elliott founded Physicians Mutual Insurance Company in 1902, providing health care insurance to medical professionals. In 1962, the Company expanded its services to include coverage for the general public. Five years later, the Agency Group was formed and has expanded to include over 1,100 agents in more than 40 division offices across the country.
